    • SE startet nicht, weil meine Grafikkarte angeblich nicht ausreicht

      Hallo Zusammen,

      ich habe mir gerade SE gegönnt und der Start wird mit der Meldung abgebrochen "Unable to initialize Direct3D11. Also habe ich DirectX11 aktualisiert, doch das Problem bleibt bestehen.

      Kann mir jeman einen Rat geben?

    • Okay... da bricht die interne Render-Engine ab... Hattest du vor kurzem ein GraKa-Treiber-Update? Wenn ja, versuch auf die vorherige Version zurückzustellen (sollte recht einfach gehen). Wenn nein, hilft, so fürchte ich, nur eine Neuinstallation von SE.

    • Das Problem trat unmittelbar nach der Erstinstallation auf. Daraufhin habe ich den Grafiktreiber und auch DirectX aktualisiert, doch das Problem bestand auch weiterhin noch.
      Ich hatte bis dahin mit einem älteren Grafiktreiber "gearbeitet", was mir bei keinem Spiel bisher Probleme gemacht hat. Erst durch die Fehlermeldung von SE habe ich mich genötigt gesehen, den Treiber mal zu aktualisieren.

      Wenn ich das spiel wirklich neu installieren muss, reicht es da aus, die Spielinhalte (Daten) über Steam zu löschen oder ist hier eine Deinstallation anders möglich?
      Nicht dass da noch ein paar Dateileichen zurückbleiben, sodass das Problem wieder besteht?
